El hijo del campesino el muchacho barrigón
cuando el hambre lo atormenta pone mi cuerpo al fogón
Me retuerzo del dolor sobre la braza inclemente
pidiendo mas compasioonn para miiiii cuerpo inocente

Pero el muchacho travieso se ríe de mi agonía
Y al ver que ya estoy asada me come con alegría.
Guacara me dan por nombre mi forma es de caracol
Vivo en la humedad tranquila huyo de los rayos del sol
Cuando el invierno comienza y la tierra se humedece
Y germina la semilla
Y la raaaama reverdece
