ANIMAL PHOTOGRAPHY / HYLEPHILA PHYLEUS

En una de mis salidas por el bosque, tratando de obtener un macro de un insecto, pude hacer algunas fotos de esta mariposa llamada Hylephila phyleus, estas son las dos imágenes que me gustaron más, de todo lo que pude hacer, y en mi opinión las más interesantes, ya que en una se aprecia muy bien que está bebiendo agua de una hoja, en este caso es un macho ya que sus colores son oscuros y con manchas claras, un dato curioso de ésta especie es que logra mantener sus alas en forma triangular,ya que esto les ayuda a absorber los rayos del sol.

In one of my outings through the forest, trying to get a macro of an insect, I could make some pictures of this butterfly called Hylephila phyleus, these are the two images that I liked the most, of everything I could do, and in my opinion the most interesting, since in one it is very well appreciated that you are drinking water from a leaf, in this case it is a male since its colors are dark and with light spots, a curious fact of this species is that it manages to maintain its Triangular shaped wings as this helps them absorb the sun's rays.
