La historia de este sabroso rabanito.
Saludos amigos, les presento al primer rabanito que he cosechado. Después de haber sembrado hace más de 40 días. Sucede que nunca había sembrado esta hortaliza.
En el mes de diciembre, gracias a una amiga, me regaló unas semillas que envió a mi país, provenientes de España.
Para finales de diciembre llegó el paquete con algunas otras cosas, a lo que llamo chistosamente, "ayuda humanitaria."
Todo se ha puesto cuesta arriba, hasta para mí, un profesional de la salud, las cosas no son las mismas. Pero tomé una decisión y es quedarme en mi país, pase lo que pase. Así asumí este reto de sembrar algunas semillas, pues hasta los vegetales tienen costos inalcanzables.

Sembré y a pocos días después mis rabanitos surgieron de la tierra que yo misma preparé con abundante compost y abono de lombriz. Eran muy delgaditas las plantitas, largos los tallitos. No sembré pensando en lunas, en menguantes o en viernes.
Pero igual esperé hasta que pude transplantarlos, cuando ya engordaran un poco más. Lo hice, esperé y justo ahora comencé a disfrutar de un sabroso rabanito, poco picoso, tierno y hasta sus hojitas entraron a la ensalada.
Me siento muy complacida. Para mí es todo un éxito. Además de tomar la previsión, sembré más, para seguir teniendo rabanitos frescos cuando me apetezcan.

Las plantas las tengo en macetas, por que tengo un jardín al frente de mi casa, que era solo para flores y que ahora las estoy reemplazando por hortalizas, tubérculos y otros. Es maravilloso dar vida, sembrarlos, verlos crecer y recoger frutos sanos y deliciosos. Ellos necesitan muchos cuidados, pero con amor todo se puede. Le invito a sembrar, no hay sensación más placentera. Estar en contacto con Dios.
