Last night before I fell asleep I was thinking about a situation that is happening lately with my posts on Steemit and from what I have seen many users on the platform the same thing happens to them: Rain of downvotes!.
Anoche antes de dormirme me quedé pensando en una situación que está ocurriendo últimamente con mis publicaciones en Steemit y por lo que he visto a muchos usuarios dentro de la plataforma les pasa lo mismo: ¡Lluvia de votos negativos!.The last update has brought with it a very funny downvote button that I think is too much. My logic tells me that if I don't like something, I just let it go and that's it. Why invest effort in saying 'I don't like it' if you decide what you want and don't want to see in your feed?
La última actualización ha traído consigo un muy chistoso botón de voto negativo que a mi parecer está de más. Mi lógica me dice que si algo no me gusta, solo lo dejo pasar y ya. ¿Por qué invertir esfuerzo en decir "no me gusta" si tú decides lo que quieres y no quieres ver en tu feed?.I personally haven't used it for the first time and I don't think I will do it the rest of my way through Steemit. We live in a society in which we must be tolerant of other people's ideas, because if not, how can we demand that they accept ours? As I say, if I don't like something, I look the other way and that's it! End of the matter.

In fact we truly need Downvotes and we had em already before hf21/22.
Without em we couldnt punish abuse.
With em we can do that decentralized, via consensus :)

En muchos casos son bots programados de comunidades o tribus para recoger tokens otorgados por votos, de personas que tienen stakes de esos tokens. Un ejemplo: Si @fermionico vota este post, posiblemente tendrías recompensa del token MEME, pero tu post no es un meme; entonces el dueño de esa comunidad programa un bot que busca esta publicación y le da un downvote para recoger los tokens que le he otorgado con motivo de mi voto; esa es toda la gracia. Otros downvotes están siendo otorgados por cuentas de bots programados para formar parte de trails de votos negativos. En efecto, ahora existirán estos trials donde tu puedes delegar el poder de voto negativo que se creó a partir del HF22. Además, como tú misma lo dices, no estás dispuesta a usar tu poder de voto negativo; eso no es nada bueno y te explico porqué: la inmensa piscina de recompensas de steem, está siendo atacada por programadores que publican basura con tal de morder un poco las recompensas de esa piscina, si ellos logran su objetivo, tú y todos los creadores de verdad, estamos siendo perjudicados porque recibimos menos recompensas. Steem NO es facebook, no puedes esperar comportarte igual que allí, acá hay que defender lo que es nuestro y ese mecanismo (el downvote) es un instrumento que nos han puesto al alcance para hacerlo. Es difícil que los usuarios vean, especialmente los nuevos, que el down-vote es tan necesario como el up-vote... Porque como ella dice, puede ser porque "no me gusta algo", pero no es la única ni la principal razón. Esperemos que el tiempo aquí les haga ver todo más claro :)
