Oda a la sombra
Compañera fiel
que nunca me dejas solo
siempre silenciosa
eres un punto en común
para todo el mundo
A donde voy, tú vas
oh sombra misteriosa
no dejas huellas
a tu andar.
Te mezclas con facilidad
con la oscuridad
cuando el sol es más intenso
tu silueta destaca más.
Eres útil has para saber la hora
para saber el paso del tiempo
en la noche no te ocultas
solo te fundes con la oscuridad.
No discriminas a nadie
por su color de piel
o su aspecto, o sexo y sexualidad
mucho menos por su estatus social.
Amiga del pintor
con tus tonos
haces posible
la vida del color.
No hay ser vivo
o inanimado
que no tenga tu compañía
con ellos te mueves por la vida.
Oh sombra
sí hablaras
tantas historias contarías
¡testigo silencioso de tantas aventuras!
Eres tan antigua como el sol
te conocen en todo el cosmos hoy
estas llenas de historias
que quedan ocultas en los pliegues de tus vestidos.
Eres amiga de la luna
ella con su manto de luz
tu con tus tonalidades ocultas
le dan vida a la noche azul.
Esta oda es para ti
por tu dulce compañía
por tu calidez tan fría
por todos los secretos que ocultas en tus sombras
¡estos versos son para ti!

Faithful companion
You never leave me alone
always silent
you are a common point
for everyone
Where are you going?
oh mysterious shadow
you do not leave footprints
to your walk.
You mix easily
with the darkness
when the sun is more intense
your silhouette stands out more
You are useful to know the time
to know the passage of time
at night you do not hide
you only melt with the darkness.
You do not discriminate against anyone
for its skin color
or its appearance, or sex and sexuality
much less because of their social status.
Friend of the painter
with your tones
you make possible
the life of color.
There is no living being
or inanimate
Do not have your company
with them you move through life.
