Laberinto lleno de hormigas / Labyrinth full of ants
Laberinto lleno de hormigas
Laberinto lleno de hormigas
suben y bajan
lo que es horizontal es vertical
a pleno sol
la sombra llega.
Espero en silencio
y veo las hormigas
suben y bajan
esperan la lluvia
la música a lo lejos
me acompaña.
Laberinto de hormigas
en la pared de piedra
llegan y se van
dan vueltas y vueltas
La música suena
a lo lejos
¿me acompañas?
¿no ves las hormigas?
viven en su laberinto
vertical
horizontal
en el muro de piedra.
Suena la música
suena mi corazón
el sol ya no está
la sombra llega
laberinto de hormigas
suben y bajan

Labyrinth full of ants
Labyrinth full of ants
rise and fall
what is horizontal is vertical
in full sun
the shadow arrives.
I wait in silence
and I see the ants
rise and fall
wait for the rain
the music in the distance
accompanies me
Labyrinth of ants
on the stone wall
they arrive and they go
they go round and round
The music sounds
in the distance
Will you come with me?
Do not you see the ants?
they live in their labyrinth
vertical
horizontal
in the stone wall.
The music sounds
my heart sounds
the sun is no longer
the shadow arrives
ant labyrinth
rise and fall
load their leaves
me my sorrows, joys and sadness
but here I am.
This poem I wrote on September 1, 2015, in a concert of La Vida Bohème, in El Hatillo, Edo Mirada, Venezuela. Accompany my daughter Miranda Isabel, and it was the first time I went to a concert and to Hatillo. This poem was written to her and I dedicate it to you Miranda Isabel.
It was a very nice and special moment for me. I wrote the poem while we waited to enter the concert, on some stairs with a beautiful stone wall. While my daughter was talking with a friend, I saw the ants carrying their leaves. I have always liked ants, observe them, and at times of my life seeing them has helped me to meditate a lot. That September, that 2015 was very special since there were many changes in my life, but that other story, another poem. Here I leave a video of the song that I like most about this band.
Es realmente lindo, a tú hija debe gustarle muchísimo. Saludos!
