Hola comunidad de Steemit, soy Andrés, vivo en Venezuela, específicamente de la ciudad de Barcelona, capital del estado Anzoátegui, soy docente, ingeniero, esposo, padre y aficionado a muchas cosas.

Hello community of Steemit, I am Andrés, I live in Venezuela, specifically in the city of Barcelona, capital of the Anzoátegui state, I am a teacher, engineer, husband, father and a fan of many things.
Como docente e ingeniero, laboro en la Universidad de Oriente (UDO), una de las cinco universidades autónomas del país y la más grande en cuanto a la extensión del territorio nacional que abarca y hasta hace algunos años también era la de mayor población estudiantil.
As a teacher and engineer, I work at the Universidad de Oriente (UDO), one of the five autonomous universities in the country and the largest in terms of the extension of the national territory that covers and until a few years ago was also the largest student population.
Como padre y esposo, tengo más de 15 años de casado y mi esposa y yo tenemos dos hermosas hijas, que son nuestro mayor orgullo y a quienes dedicamos casi todo nuestro tiempo libre.
As a father and husband, I have been married for more than 15 years and my wife and I have two beautiful daughters, who are our greatest pride and to whom we dedicate almost all of our free time.
Mis gustos son variados y abarcan muchos ámbitos, disfruto de la lectura, especialmente de la buena literatura de ciencia ficción, fantasía y terror y de buenos libros de divulgación científica. En cuanto a la música, definitivamente el rock y el metal son mis favoritos, aunque también disfruto del JPop, debido a mi gusto por la animación japonesa, aunque en este género me limito a las bandas sonoras de algunos animes.
My likes are varied and cover many areas, I enjoy reading, especially good science fiction, fantasy and horror literature and good science books. As for music, definitely rock and metal are my favorites, although I also enjoy JPop, due to my taste for Japanese animation, although in this genre I limit myself to the soundtracks of some animes.
En lo que a cine y televisión se refiere, soy aficionado, como ya dije, al Anime, no a todo, soy más de la vieja guardia y disfruto más de los clásicos, aunque hay mucho buen anime nuevo, que también disfruto. También me gustan las series y películas de superhéroes y de ciencia ficción y fantasía.
As far as film and television is concerned, I am a fan, as I said, of the Anime, not everything, I am more of the old guard and I enjoy more of the classics, although there is a lot of good new anime, which I also enjoy. I also like the series and movies of superheroes and science fiction and fantasy.
Entre mis aficiones tengo el coleccionar, monedas y billetes, consolas de video juegos, figuras de acción, figuras y autos a escala y mazos de cartas. También soy aficionado al dibujo y a armar modelos de aviones a escala. Práctico dos deportes comer y jugar juegos de video y me encanta cocinar, sobre todo comida italiana a mi estilo particular, me han dicho que no me queda mal, así que me considero un cocinero competente.
Among my hobbies I have the collection, coins and bills, video game consoles, action figures, scale figures and cars and decks of cards. I am also fond of drawing and assembling scale models of planes. I practice two sports eat and play video games and I love to cook, especially Italian food to my particular style, some have told me that I do not cook badly, so I consider myself a competent cook.
