1. JUKSKEI
Jukskei is a game with the Afrikaner origins. The objective is to knock over an upright stick with the wooden pin of an ox’s yoke, called the Jukskei.

2. MORABARABA
Morabaraba is one of South Africa’s more popular traditional games. Its’ a strategic game similar to chess; ‘morabaraba’ is ¬derived from Sesotho terms meaning to move around in a circle. As in chess it requires two players to compete. Follow the link to see the Morabaraba board

3. KGATI
Two players hold the skipping rope on each end, while the third player skips in a variety of ways while chanting and singing. The South African Kgati team won gold in Lithuania in 2012.

4. DIKETO
In the game the participant starts with 10 stones in a circle drawn on the ground. On the first move throw an object in the air; while the object is air borne the objective is to clear the circle of all the stone. On subsequent throws the object is to return stones to the circle one at a time.

5. INTONGA
In this stick-fighting game between two people, each armed with two long sticks; One stick is used offensively and the other defensively. They beat each other until one surrenders.

6. DIBEKE
This game is a hybrid form of dodge ball.

7. Kho-kho
Kho-kho is a tag sport for two teams. The one is team being the chasing team lines up face alternate directions in a ready position. The other team members need to move from one side to the other of a field without being tagged by the opposition.
