MY COUNTRY SOUTH AFRICA - PART 2: Zulu Bead Work
This post was created for the Hello Hello Group Task 11 –Traditions and Cultures
In this post I wish to introduce you to the lovely traditional beadwork produced by the Zulu Ladies. Zulu’s are a people native to Southern Africa, gathered mostly around the Kwazulu Natal province in South Africa.
These are typical example of bead work created for the tourism industry and are often sold at craft markets or to raise funds for charity events.

Here a young Zulu woman wearing traditional clothing adorned in the colourful decorative bead work. The beadwork will be worn to weddings and other traditional ceremonies.
