Tip was one of those guys that was well read and understood the problems we faced, and yet voted squarely in the democong camp every damn time

corruption and kickback are inherent to any human organization; the point is understanding when the parasite kills or weakens the host.
A little enlightenend self-interest never killed anybody, and is the norm. going along for the ride once the main arteries are bleeding is consent to killing the host. That's what Tip did.
