Are we becoming a slave of 'Social Media'?
Social media is additive, we have to approve this. Survey says that most of the people use their phone before getting out of the bed. If you are also included in this list, may be it's time to step back.
Is this a healthy life to not communicate actively with others rather scroll in our phone for hours. We may not not realize the negative effects of this acts but you will suddenly notice what type of life you are living. If we make our life surrounded by social media, depends on social media; we may not get the joy of living a mindful life.

We are making our life more stressful, full of anxiety, full of frustration by giving our precious time to social media. Social media is full of fake, full of jealousy, bad politics. Don't put yourself in to this. And yeah, full of popular social media star who does not really convey any positive good message for our life, at least most of them.
We are the owner of our life. If our social activity does not bring any change in our life, it's not worth to take our time. We have to understand that. We can do so many different positive activity in that time. Yeah, social media is a great source of entertainment for sure. We all spend some times on it. But you have to control how much you wanna spend. If you loose the control and can not select which content you should focus on, you will be the slave.
That's the reason we should set the very first rule to not spend much time on social media. And then choose our content interests widely. You can find different positive, entertaining content around. Now a days, social media is full of ad and paid suggestions. So this is a tough job actually. We have to face or see some contents which we don't really look for and thus the social media is actually influences us to think/buy/support certain things. Be aware of that. Don't be their slave. Be your own Master!
Yup. We as a species kind if are to a certain extend. Especially the young generations. The Young ones had to deal with a household with no parents inside it as both parents was busy getting money to provide for the expensive expenses in life. In the past, the mother was witt them, especially in the first 4 or 5 years. They found company in social media. That has become a habit.

I think most of us already are slaves to social media. If you look at the insane average amount of time a day that people use social media, it's just ridiculous! I enjoy my internet/social media time, don't get me wrong, but I just can't see myself stuck in front of a screen for 4-6 hours a day. There's just so many other things to be doing!
