Pornography has always been a taboo even for best of the Economies. Some people are completely against it and some are always in favor saying that it would violate their freedom if government would ever ban pornography. So, pornography has received mixed critics from the law makers of all over the countries. Some countries banned it liked South Korea and in some countries like the whole Middle East, it is illegal to watch porn. If someone had caught watching porn publicly, then he'd be seriously punished. And Finally some countries have neither banned it or legalized it. 

Well, today I am not gonna talk about porn in general, rather I would like to raise a concern which has been rising seriously and no one is going to look after it anytime soon. That serious concern is Child Pornography. It is a serious concern and needs immediate attention. 

So what is Child pornography and what sort of things comes under it?

Well, child pornography is the depiction of sexual material involving a person less than 18 years of age. So, basically if a boy or girl who is still a minor and someone depicts them into some sexual content video/pictures, then they come under the infamous child pornography. Child pornography is a serious offense punishable by several years of jail and a fine of thousands of dollars. 

Federal law prohibits any kind of distribution, production, possession and the circulation of child pornography. 

Why Child Pornography is increasing day by day?

Well, with the advent of free internet and increasing access of pornography to the whole World, there has been an exponential increase in the viewers of porn. It's demand is increasing day by day and people often watch porn when they are free and browsing the internet. Some people get bored of the regular stuff, they demands something different, something taboo. And that's when child pornography comes into the light. Although it exist before the advent of internet, but after the free access of internet there has been a sudden increase in child pornography. 

Whether they agree or not, some people likes to watch child pornography and it's a shame on their own self-consciousness. After the advent of internet, child pornography images can be found easily on numerous websites with the help of a single click. Now, people can have access to this 'prohibition' in a matter of seconds. Some websites are even dedicated to the child pornography. Although governments all over the World has closed down many of these websites but some are still alive on proxy servers. They can be accessed and used from there.

How does it affect the Economy?

The first damage of child pornography goes to those children who are depicted in those taboo videos and images. Child Pornography is the sexual exploitation of children and it represents a high degree of sexual abuse of a child's dignity. Modern technology has made it easier to keep a permanent record of it by recording with digital HD cameras and recorders. This leads to a great damage to the psychological health of a child. It is kind of permanent and causes serious anxiety issue among those children. In come cases it has been seen that victims of child pornography sometimes commit suicide because of serious anxiety issues. 

The children who get engaged in child pornography, in most of the cases becomes the victim of false employment assurance. They thought it would be some kind of job but people who cheats them in the name of a job takes them to the world of Child Pornography. 

So, I believe it must be controlled as soon as possible before it becomes severe. Children are only meant for good education and studies, certainly not for child pornography. It is social taboo and needs to be controlled immediately.

It has already been banned in many countries and all the websites which are depicting these contents are illegal. They are either operational through the proxy servers or on a VPN. It also needs to be shut down wherever they are operating. Government and the people should make combined efforts to ban every one of the source of Child pornography and the people who're behind this, should be punished heavily.

The victims of the child pornography should be taking care with love and proper counseling should be provided to them with all other needed facilities. 

Children are our future. We should save them from such things and make the Economy better for their Future.
