This is about soccer and not coins this time. I can't think of another subject than to mention that today Willem van Hanegem (difficult to pronounce I know) became 75 years. His nickname still used is "the crooked" refering to his crooked legs which allowed him to pass with both sides of the (left) foot.

When mentioning "Willem" in the Netherlands we first think of van Hanegem before the King Willem!

Willem and Johan Cruyff were two of the best Dutch soccer players during the seventies. With Johan - called el Salvador in Barcelona/Catalunia - he teamed up in the succesfull national team (Orange) combining the genius of both Ajax and Feyenoord. These teams both won the Europe Cup which is (a bit) comparable to the Superbowl.

Johan Cruyff died in 2016 (age 68) so we are all so glad that Willem is still around and how! He writes columns in a newspaper and is a seen guest in talk shows about soccer. He is mentally sharper than ever and he even looks younger than his age.

I hope we can still enjoy his presence for many years.
