Welcome to week 28 of the SoCal Spotlight!
Each week the SoCal Spotlight highlights five of the awesome posts from #socalsteemit! So, lets dive on in and see what kind of cool stuff the SoCal Steemians have been posting about this week!
Leading it off for the week is @mattlovell with his post on a Red Cross event called "Sound The Alarm". The Red Cross put on a huge community service effort at a local community in San Bernardino. Teams went around installing fire alarms with each member having a specific task. This is an all around insightful post with a whole community at work.

Following up this weeks spotlight is @creationofcare with her great post on creating your own Blouse. Her stiching is amazing and the style of top created was very unique. Any pattern can be used to create endless styles. Check it out!

Next up is @mariannewest with her trip to a Lemon Grove Nursery. These shots were taken on a very clear blue day and it really made the flowers of the nursery pop. With plenty of succulents and rich potting soil, this place has it all. Stop by and read about her trip!

@dfinney's post on San Ysidro Ranch is absolutely amazing! With a wedding at such a chateau as this its a wonder at how beautiful an event really can be with the scenery perfectly placed. This place has wonderful presentation on every piece of the meal. The venue is one to consider if you are not hitched yet. It will blow your mind!

And leading the way is @kunschj with his shot of a bee taking a sip of nectar from a beautiful flower. He instills both the black and white and full color versions of the photo. Its hard to realize that even a snap shot wont get a clear picture of the beating wings, but this photo comes close!
