It is in the San Gabriel Mountains. From Altadena CA, take Lake Ave north till it ends. Then find street parking. Then walk east to the Sam Merrill trailhead. Take that to Echo Point. It is about a 2 hour hike. Love that place. The ruins at the top are called "White City."
