How to add more games to your SNES Mini

So you got your SNES Mini and you are excited and starting to look through the couple of games that are on there. But what you really want is to play all of the great games that came out for the SNES. Or at least the great games that are missing from the collection.

Luckily the SNES Mini has the same hardware as the NES Mini so the same hacking software can be used to add extra games and features to the mini console.

So to make it very easy, just follow these steps.

Download Hakchi2 the hacking program

Download your favorite games (use only the USA roms because of compatibility. These roms have an U in the description)
https://www.loveroms.com/roms/super-nintendo

plug in your SNES Mini into your computer (if the SNES Mini won't install use this program http://zadig.akeo.ie/ to install the driver)

Add the games to the program with the "Add more games" button in Hakchi2.
If you download the games from the site they will be in a zip file. Extract these into a folder and select them all when adding them to Hakchi2.

Press the "Synchronize games" button in Hakchi2 and follow the steps.

And you are done!

You can play all the games you want on your SNES Mini

After this you can start to play around with some other settings like adding a soft reset button to the controller.
Or adding cover art for all the games you added.

You can even go further and add other emulators to emulate other consoles.
