RE: The Train Cemetery In Krakow - Steemfest 3

in #sndbox6 years ago

You really got some incredible shots of those old trains. I love to see discarded technologies such as this. I wonder at what point the owners forgot about their equipment, or they decided it was less expensive to let it rot than it was to sell it for parts or scrap metal.

Sort:

And that other area had so many trains just sitting there. Need to explore that one when back in Krakow.

Definitely! Do you get over that way often? I've never been.

Not at all. This was my first time BUT I want to go back there badly, maybe for a For91days!

Ooooh, that is a great idea. I love that you travel for 91 days at a time. How did you settle on that number?

When we started out we decided that visiting 4 locations a year seemed about right. So 365 divided by 4 = 91.25 :) And it works out with visas (3 month visas :) )

I like that math. Do you ever go home? I also travel a great deal. I think I spend about as much time elsewhere as I do at home. :-)

We slowed down now but we're aiming to do 2 For91days a year plus family and friend visits we're not too often home.

Sounds like a great way to live a life. If you ever get into the US let me know. We might be traveling where you are and would be happy to be your guides.

That would be so awesome to meet you and have you as our guide. We already did two spots in the US, Savannah and Idaho. If you're curious check those blogs out on our wordpress page. There is so much to see in the US, I'm sure we will be back soon. But anyways, we're at least once a year in Ohio, since Mike's family is living there.

Oh, that's awesome! Savannah is a gorgeous city. Idaho is pretty too with its rugged mountains all over the place. :-)

What part of Ohio? Matt and I are in Cleveland.
