Sometime last year, a group called @sndbox captured my attention.

They did a really crazy thing by using Steemit to fund the renovation of a park in Brooklyn, NYC.

That was about a year ago, and there is now another opportunity to help create a real-world representation of what Blockchain can do.

@sndbox and their team are trying to raise 5,000 SBD to fund their Crypto Renaissance Event. I was blown away by Steem Park and the amount of people that learned about Blockchain through that. This is a ~ 1-month exhibition that will feature tons of info and devices that will let people learn about and experience Dapps on the Steem Blockchain. As you can see in the top image, Ingrid, Cion, our EncryptdCouple Account, and I, all donated the 10 SBD to be honored on the wall there. However, it’s much more about helping put on this awesome event! They have already dropped $5,000 on the event space and are trying to raise the other $5,000 that is needed at the time of the event opening.
