Great post my fellow Malaysian. For me, I think VR is the future, at least for education, there is a 'pull factor' involved that gets people hyped up . I did a lower cost VR class with a group of students once. We used Google Cardboard. Dont think its feasible to bring 40 HTC vive to a school..haha

Absolutely, education is a big one. In fact there’s a few larger VR corporations entering the Malaysian market to open interactive and learning digital centres.
Met a British teacher in KL, working at a private high school and she told me they have a room with few VR (oculus) headsets. The kids love it
I think once VR becomes more affordable and easier to set up, schools will start to consider. Who knows though, by that time maybe Augmented and even Mixed reality might take the throne though. If you’re interested, check out the MagicLeap project - it’s huge
