Thanks for the informative and educational post... I agree on everything you mentioned and I'm hearing a lot about SMT's these day's, I wonder how much of an impact that will make when they are implemented, I'm still learning but I think SMT's could attract more people and serve a good purpose. 
The Token in the future won't matter so much. The real value will come to the ones who can truly create a community with high trust and a nice brand to it that others buy into.
