RE: SMTs Explainer: Centralized vs. Decentralized Cryptocurrency Rewards; Copyright Rev Shares [VIDEO]

Hi, @ned. I have a question.

What would stop a government agency from shutting down a website issuing an SMT?

I understand that Steem is decentralized but a centralized website issuing their own token is an easy target if a government agency wanted to shut it down for issuing a token. Even though that token is backed by Steem, the site itself is not decentralized. How could this be prevented?
