We are happy to announce about dlike being able to get some generous SP delegation. A big thanks to @freedom who showed his big vote of confidence on dlike platform by delegating 49608 SP. This is the biggest delegation for dlike till today as dlike total delegation was not even near this number and its just due to support of @freedom, now dlike is having much better upvote for its users.

As you know we have already raised dlike token to 50 per comment and 45 per post for all the posts that get approved from moderators. With both of these efforts, dlike will be a more user friendly platform in terms of monetization.

Still as per our previous announcement, we will not tolerate any thing on quality of links and comments being made on our platform. All users must write atleast 20 words to tell about link which they share, how this link is useful to community?

Upcoming Updates

Right from very start we have been working our best to make our platform a useful dApp for users. Now as we are moving towards 200 days of dlike, its time to fulfill some of the agreements made by us.

As you know dlike is targeted to make a reddit on blockchain with addition feature and design of pinterest so here is the biggest move to achieve the actual goals of dlike. 

Decentralization of Dlike

First and the biggest announcement is decentralization of Dlike platform. As you all know what this word decentralization means in its pure sense and now we are moving towards its real sense.

We are offering dlike users to own dlike. For this we are working on a mechanism to keep things transparent and upto reality. Dlike will be offering each of its category to be owned by its users. Some of the basic measurements for this has been laid and other are still in pipeline to be announced soon. Here are few of the details to go towards decentralization

• Any dlike category will work just like a complete dApp in itself so owners will have full control over that category
• To own a category, come in with 3 friends or like minded people who have good knowledge in that category
• Owners will control over design and any changes they want in that particular category
• Owners of each category will keep total beneficiary income earned from that category
• In addition to beneficiary income, owners will get rewarded in form of dlike tokens ranging 50k to 100k weekly till launch of SMTs.
• Dlike will keep upvoting all users of all categories in addition to which owners will have sub accounts to upvote and reward their users
• As per SMT white paper, once dlike SMTs are launched, each of the category will have its own sub-tokens totally owned and run by the community owners
• All decisions of dlike will be made by top 5 or 7 category owners to ensure a successful working and monetization mechanism of platform.

All of these suggestions are in working and will be worked for next 2 weeks so come in with your team and desired category to own and put your suggestions to make the system more vibrant. Regular dlike users will be preferred to own dlike as they have put their efforts to make dlike what it is today.

In addition to this step towards decentralization, dlike will be making few fundamental changes. One of the main option we will introduce is the option for users, if they want to publish shared links on their steemit blog or not. This has become something necessary to make as steemit is purely a blogging network and has many bots working to ensure proper blogging approach on this dApp. Links shared on dlike does not meet the blogging criteria even though these links are not plagiarism or spamming by any means and you can read our clear point of view on this topic in this post.

To solve the issue of many users who want to use dlike and afraid of getting spamming alerts on their posts from #steemcleaners can use this option to not publish those links in their steemit blog. Still these users will be able to enjoy upvoting on their shared links and comments through dlike platform. We hope to see some updates from STEEM Inc before SMTs launching about this issue by removing the condition of publishing everything on steemit blog that comes on steem blockchain from any dApp.

After beta testing of Dlike android app, its almost ready to be launched on Google Play Store.  Hopefully it will be available on play store by end of next week.
