RE: Sweet Potato Chia Smoothie

in #smoothie8 years ago

Hi, I have a question. Hopefully it will be received well but I understand if it is not.

Why are your smoothie recipes worth so much money?

Trying to understand why the community perceives them as adding so much value, even though it looks like you cash out your winnings every day.

I hope I have asked politely enough to avoid downvotes.

Hi jsteck, I’m sorry I’m not sure how to answer your question. Im very happy that people seem to enjoy my recipes that I make every day. I hope that it gives them that bright moment every morning as it does for me and something to look forward to. As far as “cashing out”, I believe that is one of the purposes or major motivations for using steemit in the first place? If I were to record myself in a bikini making a smoothie and it received a lot of votes, would that be of more value and deserving? Since when are certain categories predetermined to be worth less than others and who is to decide that other than the voters themselves?

Thanks for the reply! No bikini pics required (and I didn't know your gender nor does it matter here). Tomorrow I am going with banana cherry chia Greek yogurt. I have a better understanding of the steemit economy thanks to you.

Thanks again for the reply!

I believe it's just because the solid topic the user posts. Subscribers "like" a topic and sub to the author if there's more relevant info about it at the posts list.

An author that writes about camping, cartoons, sports and random IT essays wont get a "solid" pack of followers, neither readers/upvotes.
