It is another beautiful morning in Dallas. Mornings are my favorite time of the day I love how sweet my daughter is when I wake her up in the morning she is always full of smiles. I make my smoothie after feeding her and getting some good cuddles, this morning I have this creamy sweet potato and chia smoothie. Chia seeds are a food that is known help to promote lactation, but just in case you are not lactating they have many other health benefits too. Chia seeds are high in fiber, which aids in digestion and help balance blood sugar. They are also high in omega-3 fatty acids to support a healthy heart.
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup roasted or baked sweet potatoes
- 1 tbs chia seeds
- 1 frozen banana
Put all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
