Blooming during summer time our national tree called "Narra" produces beautiful yellow tiny flowers and covers the ground like snow. In my years of stay in the company that I currently work for. I always watch out for the blooming of it's flowers. Let me just share with you today my coffee break and a little time to enjoy the............

Summer Snow

On my way to the parking lot where we spend our coffee break. This is always a welcoming sight the blooming of the flowers. A nightmare for the janitors as the flowers being stepped on are sometimes carried inside the office. Which I know blooms twice a year in the summer and later before the December season which I just cannot recall.

It's leaves provide a great shade from the scorching sun and during rainy season provides shelter from the rain. Keeps you dry maybe for just a couple of minutes.

The wood from the Narra tree is used to make furniture which are expensive. The wood from this tree resists termites and the flowers is known to have medicinal properties. I recall once one of the trees got infested with disease and our company paid to have the tree treated. It is good to know that our company is environment and pro nature.

A sight to see when the road is covered with the yellow flowers. Most of it has already been swept aside. When the wind blows more of the flowers falls to the ground.

The vehicles parked here is sure to be covered with the Summer Snow. The only problem is when it rains the flowers tends to stick on the body of your vehicle and a bit hassle to remove.

I love this season seeing these flowers on the ground. I just wish I had my gear with me so I could do a more serious shoot. I'd love to do a macro shot a closer look at the flowers.

A handful of yellow pleasantness and when we come inside our hair would be covered with the tiny flowers. If you would take a closer look there are tiny green pods. These pods fall after all the flowers have fallen and the ground will be covered in green replacing the yellow.

I was told that it's leaves and flowers are edible. But I am not picking up any of those from the ground anytime soon. Not gonna happen lol.

Filling up the crevices this reminds us that time passes by so fast and the last blooming was just like yesterday. Reminding us that life is not all work, we only live once and we should enjoy life. Living it by enjoying, appreciating and loving the world around us.
