Carnival Is Coming
Maybe for someone with different cultural heritage, this looks too aggressive or vulgar, but when in Ilirska Bistrica we see such hanging dolls on trees this means that the carnival comes.
This is an official invitation (in Slovenian language) for the event:
Some older carnival pics from my archive. All these creatures in the photos are traditional, homemade masks and represent various figures who want to banish winter and are very wild and funny.
