I've never seen a faucet quite like that... interesting.
I've worked in the big grocery business for over 25 years. You are totally right. We constantly reset shelves and move displays. Also... The milk is always in the back of the store. That way you have to go through the whole store to get your basic staple.
It drives me batty lol but I can see the business sense of it. Good to have an 'insider' spilling the beans lol @doctorcrypto
Just ask . I'll spill away. :)
Yesterday I went to our local supermarket to buy just one item. I decided not to get the trolly and I was struggling with my hands full with other things I was not suposed to buy. :-) I wish I had a photo of myself to show. :-)
That would have been fun to see. It's amazing what we end up with when we visit a supermarket :)
What you say about the supermarket makes sense and I'm convinced that this is really true. Thanks for the tricks. I will try ... harder. Often I was without a basket and looked like a Christmas tree. The same problem with cleaning your hands in public toilets or gas stations. You clean your hands and then, to go, you have to open the door with your clean hand ... but you do not know if the one in front of you washed his hands.
This is so true. We need automatic doors on these restrooms so we don't have to touch the door handle.
Good for you going without the basket. I bet that was a sight to see. :)
Yes, I'll do that again... provided that my wife will not be with me.
Haha take a photo next time and make a post. Start a new trend!
Thank you! I will. About the trend...I have seen many people doing the same.
Great pictures. That is an interesting faucet and hand dryer arrangement.
Here in my little town, our local grocery offers antibacterial wipes next to the buggy bays, to wipe down the parts of the cart we handle. They also have similar stands in the produce section, next to the deli counter, in the meat department, and the registers all have a canister of wipes for the checkers and baggers as well.
Of course, in the States, we have some pretty rigid food safety laws and the health departments are usually very strict.
We have strict hygiene standards here too but enforcement is another issue. Nice tap blower though. :)
Haha, "They rotate stock in order to keep you in the store longer." I knew it was an evil plot! They know I just came in for my bag of Doritos and want to make it hard ;/ That faucet/dryer is a new thing for me, never seen one before. Thanks for the tour!
It's a conspiracy I tell ya! I bet you came out with the Doritos and a few dips? lol
Lol, no dips, but always Doritos 🎉
