Srinagar, the capital of Jammu & Kashmir, has re-attained its status of the favorite hill station of India after a halt in militancy situation in the state. It boasts of the beautiful Dal and Nagin Lake, where you can have pleasurable stay in the houseboats as well as enjoy the amazing shikara rides. The city also has the splendid Mughal Gardens, in addition to destinations like Shankracharya Temple, Hazrat Bal and Pari Mahal. Truly, Srinagar can be called an impeccable gem in the treasure chest of the country.
