Beer and views for Thanksgiving
For this week's #BeerSaturday post I will start off with a trip to the local brewery then continue into the Thanksgiving holiday.
We didn't want to cook Wednesday night so we went to Lolo Peak Brewing for dinner and a beer.
I had the Two Sisters EPA. It is an English Pale Ale. A bit more bitter than I was expecting but not bad.
It mixed quite well with my dinner which was jambalaya. It is a bit spicy and quite wonderfully filled with sausage and shrimp. It was so good I didn't get a picture until I had started to eat it.
On Thanksgiving we went to my uncle's house and had dinner with 30+ family members. Good food and many games played.
Friday we went for a walk along the river as it was a decent day except for the wind.
The cliffs had some pretty cool layering.
Then we got to Giant Springs State Park which is a natural spring feeding into the river.
A fun couple of days. I finish this post with a couple shots of some of the drinks we had available for Thanksgiving. The strawber-rita was tasty although a bit sweet. The amaretto was also sweet, and the egg nog with whiskey was strong.
This refrigerator was full when we started.
Sounds like a good weekend
It has been. We have been having a great time.
