A pleasant consequence of a bomb threat
Brdo is a small place about 30 km away from the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana. During one of my first business trips I spent 2 nights in Hotel Brdo, which is situated in a huge park on a territory of 500 hectares. There’re a lot of lakes in the park, if you walk on one of the numerous paths you can always see some water.
The hotel is often selected as the venue of governmental or diplomatic events, because it has a nice conference centre. Such an event took place during my trip. The interesting thing was, that the hotel received a bomb threatening phone call and we had to leave the buildings, so we just walked around the park for a few hours. It was really relaxing and pleasant, I wish that worse thing would never happen to anybody who is evacuated for such a reason.
The photos were taken with my old Samsung Galaxy S smartphone in 2010.

What a beautiful setting and gardens @gabeboy sometimes it is meant that you take a break, even under unusual circumstances.
Must be a great location for wedding photographers.
Yes, we need some break from our daily work and a walk in such a beautiful park can give it.
I'm sure that lots of wedding take place here, there's a sort of castle here, too.
