Cape wagtail
The Cape wagtail, also known as Wells's wagtail, (Motacilla capensis) is a small African passerine bird in the family Motacillidae, which includes the wagtails, pipits and longclaws.
This was a young one I think

Spoke with a local birdwatcher today all he could confirm was that it is a wagtail but he wasnt sure which one.

Pretty weird. Maybe they migrate. We have lots of them over in South Africa where I am.
