Smartphone Photography 01 : Ladies Finger plant
My attempt to learn to use my smartphone to shoot photos to the highest standard as possible. This part of my next 100days challenge made to @orangila during the "Teh Tarik" session
This photo of a lady finger plant which is planted in a pot in front of my house. The image doesn't look sharp perhaps my hand was not stable when I press the shuttle button.
Take a second look at this picture. Isn't it look better? It is sharp and clear with clear line seen on the ladies finger. This photo was taken about the same time with the photo above but at a different angle. But this time. I keep my hand steady before I pressed the shuttle button.
Ladyfinger is one of the most a common vegetables available in the market. It is a favorable choice of vegetables amongst the others. It is relatively cheaper and available for most of the season
There are many ways to cook the Lady Finger. The simplest way is to steam it and serve with or without source. If you have time, you can cut them into small slice cook it together with either minced, sliced meat of chicken or pork.
You can also cook with curry powder and ikan pelis. If you like to take mixed vegetable curry, ladyfinger is one of them.
Recently there are talks that ladyfinger is a natural ingredient for healing knee joint pain. I am not sure how true it is but one of my classmate who has knee pain consumed this ladyfinger every day for several months. And his knee pain has disappeared.
Well, whether you take ladyfinger for its nutrients or for knee healing, it is a nice vegetable to eat.

I am now in Penang spending time with my family.. I will give you a long and detail reply when I am back in KL... good initiative
No worry, it is the beginning of my 100-day challenge, still a long way to go.
I never had that vegetable
pictures are good and the plant interesting how it grows and produce its vegetable
ha..ha.. it is a common vegetable in Malaysia and also countries in Asia.
It is a Asian cuisine and different way of cooking in a different country though
BTW, thanks for dropping by at your last night or early morning hour
cheers
Such a big plant, from a small pot! Nothing quite like eating it from your own backyard.
