Personally I liked the move taken by our government.and millions oppose the move the way you does too..Let's leave it alone.
Crypto currency is good.But in a country like India, where millions still struggle to eke out a life,It will take decades to proliferate.
You and me being it's early adapters,the complete responsibility for the likely feaudalism that I foresee in future,will be on our shoulders.

no corruption in country ( at least in Andhra Pradesh)
terrorists are drained out of cash and all their activities are seased
people are very very happy
and in a short time
all the Swish bank money will come out and keep checking your bank account. it will be deposited before elections.

If there is money and corruption and scam involved governments / politicians will make anything happen - like UNIQUE ID Card / Aadhar number
na, I didn't care about it at all.
Though I am sad about the environmental impact & I feel pity about those poor RBI folks who is still counting fake notes and real notes!

lol, I remember us searching my mil's wardrobe for hidden notes. she used to keep money safely but lost her memory. This announcement made us think of it and we recovered a few 500's hehe
My aunty lost lot of money too ... she had 40K with her and since her favorite son was not around, she just kept it without exchanging! though not sure what happened later on
Oh dear. Hope she got it exchanged. I think it was extended till January?
