The Largest Mosque In The World
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
Sometimes I’m still surprised with myself that I have a chance to see “something-biggest-in-the-world” every day. This is Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque (SZGM) in Abu Dhabi, UAE. There are loads of information how great it is online. So I’m kinda lazy to explain. But in a nutshell it’s a must-see place for tourists when visiting the UAE ( or maybe when you visit Dubai, you should at least spend 1 day here too).
But, I’m not lazy to capture its beauty almost everyday. SZGM gives me an endless inspiration to practice on how to appreciate, capture and share something spectacular.
It’s Ramadan and it’s super hot (approx. 45 celsius degree or more) but still there are tens of thousands tourists from worldwide come to visit this place.
Today morning, as usual after I dropped off the bus and walked to my work place. I stopped in a while and took this photo on my iPhone and then edited with Snapseed app which is my favorite editing app.
Unlike the rest of the world, in the UAE weekends are Friday and Saturday. And Sunday is the first day of the week. But everyone has off today I guess, so happy weekend!

I find mosques very amazing! I want to travel my country especially deep down south. Is this really the biggest in the world @adam.tran?

I actually have been to big mosques in Indonesia and Malaysia as well.
