You can also open a smartcash web wallet and withdraw from steemit to the web wallet. The advantage of the web wallet is that if you have at least 1000 smartcash in your address before the 25th of any given month, and you don't move your smartcash out of that address for one whole month, i.e till the next 25th, you get smart rewards, which is currently between 5-6% of your holdings!! So if you have at least 1000, you can expect between 50-60 smartcash next month as reward :D
I use a Snapshot Timer to know the exact time before which we must have the smartcash in our web wallet to be eligible for smart rewards!!
