SmartMoves from SmartCash with SmartNodes

I walked you through how to start off with SmartCash from choosing and downloading a SmartCash wallets all the way to buying SMARTS and getting them to your wallet. Guess what? We now have a SmartCash Wallet for Android users which can be downloaded from the GooglePlay store. This is one reason that the SmartCash project stands out for me. SmartCash is constantly looking for ways to improve on perfect! This is a great addition as it makes it much easier to spend or send SmartCash while out and about.

What are SmartNodes?

The SmartCash network is a decentralized one. I am sure we have heard this term thrown around - it has probably lost it's true meaning. This simply means its a collection of users who have installed the SmartCash Blockchain on their computers and serve as connection point to the next user. Each computer running the SmartCash blockchain is a node. As you can see from the explanation a network is considered stronger and more secured if it has many nodes. A SmartNode is an incentivized node. This means a user commits to keeping a node up and running 24/7 and for that he or she is rewarded.

Why do we need SmartNodes?

To ensure consistent and quick connections for all users and payments it is important to be sure some nodes will always be online (because they are incentivized to do so) and not leave it to chance that someone will be online with their computer. SmartNodes also carry out other special functions apart from ensuring the network is online always - for example Instant Payments at point of sale. If you have done a Bitcoin transaction recently (like I have unfortunately had to endure) you will notice it takes days to go through; this is because payments have to go on the same queue as everything else and wait for the miners to attend to them as the miners mine for new blocks and also try to handle point of sale payments . SmartNodes will ensure this is not the case as they would process point of sales transactions seperately and miners can give their attention to mining and other blockchain activities.
