Hiding Behind Your Fingers; Could Your Mannerisms Give Away Your Identity?steemCreated with Sketch.

Is it possible to identify a person by their mannerisms online? Could the way you type give away who you are?

.

Creating profiles online is what we always do. Everyone on social media does it. Sometimes we decide to be someone/something else online.

Sometimes it's a brand we want to build and grow, not necessarily ourselves. We set out with the name of the brand and an official image. People are relating with the brand online but know definitely that it's a human they're talking to.

Now the identity i'm speaking of is not in the realms of knowing your full name, where you leave and what your grandmother just did five minutes ago (although that is possible on some real creepy level).

The identity I speak of is in terms of knowing if the person handling the account at any given time is male or female.

A personal experience set this thinking off in my head. All of the people that have tried to address @smalltalk as human has always thought it wise to use he/him/bro!

It's funny because they are right! So I got thinking, is it something from the way I construct my sentences? Could it be the topics I try to cover? Maybe it's pure coincidence. Or are some folks just darn good?

I'll like to know your thoughts as always. Let's get talking!
