Hello to all the steemians !! Today I bring you a drawing about a fire mermaid. I'm obsessed with sirens lately thanks to the Siren series, I highly recommend them. In the series they show the other side of the sirens, which many do not know, not everything is rosy. It is a series that catches you and you do not stop looking at it, it hypnotizes you as well as the song of the sirens.<3 💙

💙Step by step.💙

💙 Step 1: First I made the outline of the drawing with a pen pencil.

💙Step 2: I start painting eyes and lips in fire tones. This time the eyes do not have much detail because they were not fully appreciated in the final result.

💙Step 3: Now it's the turn of the skin, and as I'm doing lately, I make it dark so it stands out with the whole context in general. I only use the base colors because later I will blur and mix the colors.

💙Step 4: I continue with the tail of the mermaid, the hair, and the flame in his hand, all painted only in base color. I have to improve my hair technique to make it look better and I'm working on it.

💙Step 5: Now I proceed to mix and blur the colors, also to give shadows in the necessary areas and of course give the outline on the face to create dimension.

💙Step 6: And finally I do what most excites me and I love that it is the lighting in the key areas of the face such as the T zone, the cheekbones, the tail, and other parts. I also make details and particles in the flame in your hand, near the tail and hair, as well as the background in a dark blue-gray tone.

I'm trying new things to present my post and to be more beautiful visually! And I came across the Gifs that many artists are using lately to show their work, so I said no. This first version came out decent, but not so good. Because although the photos are taken in full color. The first parts of the Gif come out in brown tones when they are red, orange and yellow! So it's a little fail. But I promise to improve them very soon, like my way of writing and structure of my pots.
