Another Layer of my Singularity Advertising Poster
Some more inking and colouring on the piece inspired by Art Nouveau advertising to fit into my Singularity world.

As some of you may remember, I posted about this piece the other day. Having become so enamoured of my Singularity world I had a vision of a torn or worn old posted advertising on the walls of a piece with one of my Singularity ladies.
Since I see them in a sort of dystopian future I began to think of the times as the Singularity was gaining its convergence and pictured advertising of implants and robotic enhancements in limb or intelligence.
In this imagined world the increase in the upper levels wealth has gained the divide from the poor that existed in the Belle Epoch, the end of the 19th and into the early Pre War 20th century.
At that very real time, the very poor and very wealthy were a great crevasse apart. A pattern we seem to currently be heading into, thus I imagine it at it's peak with the convergence of the Singularity and thus chose to play on the advertising of this time period, the Art Nouveau.
I also really love this time period and the advertising of the day was of course art worthy of museum walls.
I do know that advertising is already digital, but as part of the luxury of this class I see the use of paper and antiquities as just another demonstration of their wealth because, they can.
This version here is definitely not the finished piece. I have more to ink and add.
I like to play with varying degrees of detail or laying out the placement of things and doing it digitally makes it possible with endless layers upon which to work.
This phase shows the main character but in the final she will be in full figure with demonstration of various parts for sale, as is seen in this very rough sketch of the layout I shared the other day.
You can see, since the sketch, I changed her hat. I felt a lower head piece decorated with flowers and gears felt both more Art Nouveau and also more 'Tech' in a very steampunk sort of way.
I'm loving the idea of creating advertising and pamphlets for this world.
Very much like a character study for fiction, this gives me a greater reality to the world I am endeavoring to orchestrate and create for the viewer. And I just love decorative arts as well and am imagining all sorts of patterning I'd like to create as separate pieces that would then show up in final paintings as wallpaper or dress fabrics. It is all very exciting to me, of course I am easily amused.

Ooh, I love the gears on the hat-piece. Then again, I DO love making machine art. But it is very fitting. I also am enjoying this whole idea of the advertisement poster, as it comes together, which I no doubt said before, but it is coming out even cooler than I imagined. Now isn't THAT a high and mighty, very deeply artistic way of addressing it ( : OK, I'm not going to ever write for the art section of the New Yorker. The Picyunne times maybe, but what can I say.
I really like the multiple 'sections' of the poster. And the idea of 'parts' for sale, is pretty wild. And can have many many layers. Both physically, and idea wise. Enjoy the day.
I might be more likely to take advice on art from the Picyunne Times than I would the New Yorker, so that is fine with me :)
I'm having fun with it, which is one of my main criteria for the drive to create. I'm liking the idea of building up the world.
I did enjoy the day and you do so today! We had a lovely sunny one yesterday so I ended up spending more time messing about in the Summer Studio (chasing out squirrels and looking at dust!) and playing in the garden more than being on Steemit, Oh well, I'll try to rectify that today.
I was about to write the same, the gears are the cherry on the cake!

Are you looking to get some Processor upgrades in your mind or a robotic arm? ;) I thought playing on the ever popular idea that we can be a new 'you' with makeup and lotions or face lifts or clothes, this would be the new idea of a new you :)
Only upgrade I would love it's some wings @donnadavisart. They can be robotic ones, i don't mind, just they can allow me to fly :) Than I could even have a coffee and cigarette under your pergola :))
That's incredible, I love old fashion clothing, and I'm a big fan of futurism and trans-humanism, you've been able to mix both of them! It's like a cyber-steampunk, haha. Congratulations for it!
