This one is the name with the one that was baptized to this great woman who marked guideline in the science. Nacio in Warsaw, a beautiful place located in Poland on November 7, 1867.

Your father was a teacher of mathematics. she had four brothers, Marie was the youngest. Your family had economic limited resources. In this epoch the women could not study in the university.

In spite of all the limitations Marie had many desires to learn, she found the very interesting science.

She was the best student of her class, and in 1893 she obtained her bachelor's degree in Physics, being number one in her class. A year later he gets his degree in mathematics.

In that same year she meets who her future husband will be, Pierre Curie professor of Physics expert in magnetism.

In 1895 Marie marries Pierre Curie.

On the following year, Marie decides to do your doctoral thesis, but yet she does not have topic to discuss, then your husband Pierre spoke to him about a scientist Henri Becquerel who has discovered the natural radioactivity across the uranium, which can base your thesis on this innovative topic.

This marriage is very happy because they have discovered two elements in the same year, more thrills them is that they can contribute to the fight against the cancer.

Though her studies began to leave sequels as burns and great fatigue and other hurts to your health, they did not desist. In 1902 they obtained the chloride of radio, the news travelled about the world, the American scientists asked to share knowledge, for what Pierre said to Marie that they could spread your knowledge or to be able to patent your work and become rich, but Marie share your discovery for the benefit of all, for this decision she was very valued.

The following year, 1903 Marie receives her first Nobel Prize.

On April 19, 1906, Pierre Cuire died in a tragic accident with a carriage.
Marie continues her research on radioactivity, which immensely helps science and other discoveries. In 1911 he received his second Nobel Prize in Chemistry.

And on July 4, 1934, due to a leukemia caused by radioactivity, Marie Curie dies.
