It was such a nice event! I really recommend TEDx Talks for anyone who is interested in the future... btw who is not?
Frank Steinicke is a doctor professor and knows a lot about his job. It was so interesting to get to know his opinion of the future and virtual reality!

But its always great to enjoy these events with you and the rest of our "crew" <3

yes it really was a great event, glad to hear you had fun too!
The speeches covered some very interesting futuristic topics, and I think everyone left the event being inspired

We had a great day together, interesting speakers, issues and nice people among the audience. Special thanks to you Sir Winchester for inviting me to TED!

Sadly the graphics were very pixelated, but the software itself was very interesting and entertaining - you really felt like you were in a different world.

Haha, told you so ;-)

virtual reality is soo interesting to me - I'd love to try out the HTC vive! although I can totally understand your point with the graphics. the technology is not quite there yet, but it will be in a few years - and then VR will have even more realistic graphics than playstation games nowadays!

it was a great concept, but they definitely still lack in the execution.
The graphics looked like something from 20 years ago - but the technology itself is definitely fun and will become much more mainstream in the future, I'm sure!

I think Artificial Intelligence has good and bad sides - depending on what you use it for.
The technology definitely still has flaws and can make mistakes, but if it can heal someone or improve their daily life significantly, isn't that worth it?!

yes, I agree. It can help and improve a lot, but it can also be quite dangerous if someone with the wrong intentions gets power over it!

Glad you finally got to attend one!

Looks like it was a really informative time!

definitely, it was a very fun evening!

I tried the Oculus Rift once and it was a crazy fun experience.. I can only imagine the HTC vive being the same! you really think you're in a different world!

I think the Oculus Rift might have better graphics, because it's more expensive and professional?
But VR in general is a great new technology and I'll be interested to see how it develops in the future!

looks like an awesome event, thanks for all the info and pictures!
and the speeches sound very interesting too, especially the ones about AI, will they be uploaded to TED on youtube?

I'm not sure, but yes it might!
