Why was #A095f appearing all over the Internet in late 2017?

The world is developing at a quickening pace. AI and cryptocurrency are at the forefront of, well, everything.

TLDR: The characters A095F are the 5 last characters of the address Ethereum wallet holders used to engage in SingularityNET’s Token Generation Event (TGE), and Sophia Hanson is the Chief Humanoid of the SingularityNET Team.

Ready for years of background info in a single paragraph? SingularityNET is too many things to succinctly describe, but its guiding principle is a decentralized AI community where development and exchange are facilitated using a new cryptocurrency called the AGI Token. In December 2017, SNet launched the Token Generation Event, setting in motion a procedure for the initial worldwide distribution of AGI Tokens.
