The countdown is near, people have been giving their all to ensure the event is a resounding success and I greatly appreciate the help from all angles.

From Nigerian steemians benevolently offering to sponsor people's trips, hotel accomodation and so much more to the event, our push to promote the adoption of steem in Nigeria has never been so unified.
People from different communities, different states and different walks of life have united under one umbrella with just one simple goal: make the adoption of steem in Nigeria better than everywhere else.

Steem has been a home to so many of us and we will like to do our own part. The truth is we are taking the stage higher, we are not just simply onboarding people for the blockchain, we are gathering investors and people with the inventor mindset. Steem is like our bride, for better or worse, we stick together.

So, myself and some of my team members traveled to Abuja for about a week to take time out to strategise, meet, discuss and execute the necessary steps for the success of the event.
We don't just want success, we want it spliced with a touch of perfection.

I was deeply touched when @lordjames offered to pay for some people's accommodation. What touched me more was the fact that @uche-nna also decided to sponsor two people to the event. I realized that although we had not yet done the program, part of its objectives were already being achieved.

So far, the journey has been tough, but the benevelonce of some steemians like @donkeypong, demotruk, @ausbitbank, @surfyogi and so many others have lessened the strain of the red market on us.
Now we are saying with 65 days to go, buy your red blue paints let us paint Abuja red blue, with the power of the blockchain.

We have places outlined for us to visit, meetings to attend, bookings to make and we must keep to our tight schedules. Please do not afford to miss this wonderful event.
