Meaning of EKK OUNG KAAR 



Today I will try to open up the meaning of -KAAR (in EKK OUNG KAAR). Hope you will enjoy this new information about Sikhism if you don't know it already.

This is all based on the little knowledge blessed to me. Hope that many steemians are more informed about the Sikhisma and the meaning of EKK-OUNG-KAAR. The word is also pronounced as EkOnKaar.

OM or AUM (the parallel of Ekk Oung Kaar in Hinduism) is also said to be made of three symbols Aaa- Ooo- MMM together representing the Trimurthi (Bharamha, Vishnu and Mahesh) thus representing the three principles creation, sustenance and annihilation

Very much same, but a key difference as per my knowledge that in Sikhism there is The Creator who created all three and all three in Maya.

Yes, one of the Sikh scholar talked about similarities how Sikhism is very close to Buddhism in many ways.
