Signs of ulcerative colitis

Depending on the degree of inflammation and the location of the lesions, there are different symptoms, so experts split the ulcer of the colon by the lesion.

Anal canal ulcers: In the form of ulcerative colitis, inflammation occurs in the anal canal. In some people, anal bleeding may be the only symptom of the disease. In addition, the anal canal and the tenderness of the anus, usually the ulcer of the anal canal tends to be the lightest.

Colonic Anal ulcer: This type is associated with anal lesions and the lower part of the colon (rectum). Hemorrhoids, abdominal cramps, and pus are common symptoms.

Ulcerative colitis left: lesions in the left part of the colon. Symptoms include hemorrhage, abdominal cramps and left ventricular pain, weight loss.

Ulcerative colitis: Common causes of severe hemorrhage, abdominal cramps, fatigue, significant weight loss.

Ulcerative colitis: This is a rare, life-threatening disease. Damage to the entire colon, abdominal pain, diarrhea can lead to dehydration and shock. Patients at risk for severe complications include: colonic rupture, colonic irritation (sudden abnormal colonic irritation).

The course of ulcerative colitis is very variable, the acute attacks of the disease alternate with the remission period. Over time the disease progresses gradually. The majority of patients with mild symptoms (ulcerative anal canal) have no severe symptoms. Patients with the following symptoms need to go to a health facility: abdominal pain; bloody stool; diarrhea that does not respond to conventional drugs; fever on 2 days unexplainable. Complications of the disease: severe bleeding, perforation of the colon, severe dehydration, liver disease, kidney stones, osteoporosis, dermatitis, joints and eyes, increased risk of colon cancer, colitis.
