Well in case you forgot, here is one YouTube video where this claim was made emphatically. The amount of unsubstantiated fear mongering bullshit that comes of out this scam artists mouth is ludicrous.
Now do you all remember the "SUPER SHEMITAH", this ridiculous claim that this guy had figured out some sort of financial agenda based on some Jewish high holiday garbage. "Please confront your fears" lulz, how about please confront your never ending list of fear porn bullshit videos you made to generate a buzz and internet fame for yourself Jeff Berwick @dollarvigilante.

Still not convinced? Well that's too damn bad, I got other fish to fry and this dude Jeff shoots himself in the foot all the time with his ridiculous claims and scams. Never seen any retraction for any of this from him or any explanation for any of these videos, or why he got this Shemitah / Jubilee thing so wrong. Just thought I would remind everyone that these types of prediction scams to make money hurt the truth movement and by calling these types of people out I am just trying to dissuade others in the future from trying to do similar ridiculous scams. The SUPER SHEMITAH for crying out loud, how people didn't see through this back when I was calling him out is beyond me.
With that being said I don't disagree with everything that this Jeff guy has said, I just am saying he is a bullshit scam artist who spewed crap like the Shemitah stuff to make money and he should own up for it. When I make errors I make videos explaining how and why I was wrong, he should do the same. It also seems like he owes some people some explanations in regards to the passport scam he ran in the past.

I had to look up what that was. I had an idea but wasn't sure.
I'm not much of a computer nerd, I'm more like a computer turd.....I don't know shit about computers. lol
What I do remember though is people being afraid of nuclear plant's and other stuff getting lot's of problems. I personaly had no way of knowing if that was a possibility or not.
What I do know is: in this world you can make lot's of money on other people fear by selling things by which they feel safe.
There are of course small thing's you can like locking your door. But even that is mostly a safety fantasy.
It was "kind of" a possibility, the thing is everyone knew it was coming so they got it fixed ahead of time. I've heard of a couple companies that didn't update some internal software and had a system down but they weren't critical systems.
Well things did happen on Dec, 21, 2012, it just wasn't all doom and gloom like the twisted media said it would be; The 2012 movie did not help people from seeing the real truth.
Like @coloured-content said, it is more about astrology and the end of a cycle that they were tracking; not the end of the world!

I'm not a believer in astrology either, I'm not a believer in very much, even some of my own (false) believes, if I catch them, are getting un-believed, If that makes sense :)

Ok well maybe astrology was the wrong word to use. Think of it more a planetary tracking, The mayans had extremely advanced tracking methods and were able to track things in space that we are only just now able to do with our computer technology.
The saddest thing about the Mayans and Inkas was that they spent they energy creating innovation for discovery. So when the colonialism army came along they easily wiped out both civilizations; All ancient knowledge lost in a second!

Im pretty sure the Mayan calendar was based on astrology and the emergence of our solar system into the Pleiades photon belt...

Maybe a strange question but; Did the Maya Calander have a span from approximately 2000 year? I know the theory is that it ended in 2012 but were their years as long as ours? And did they also start counting around our year 0?
I was later also thinking about another superstition; namely what about those pieces of parchment and all the other pieces of paper around the world that makes people think they've got rights and duty's and must obey some group of people that wright these things down with their special magical pen's

Which part of the Shemitah / Jubilee and the PassPort scam did you address? None. Facts are facts, deal with it.

BTC & Ether were easy predictions; He actually predicted it wrongly on the most recent guess. He said that BTC would go up by the end of the year and it has only gone back down. All lies must be shrouded in some truth to make them seem real, so he chooses easy truths to support his lies.
I hear you brother @titusfrost . And I thank you for your work! Let me express my honest opinion here while knowing that it is just that- an Opinion. As such, I'm totally unattached to it (my opinions are my fav toilet paper). I am a TDV subscriber since 2015. What Jeff calls Shemitah was sold by countless other channels with similar principles, they just ditched the "religious" background of it and stuck to the facts that all but blind can see- This system is a self-perpetuating misery factory creating a cyclic crisis to create more debt, wars, and restrict freedoms. Jeff played a wild card with this Shemitah thing, and most probably he has lost (unless things go shit mode real soon), but the things he writes in his newsletters are very true- war on cash, great calls on cryptos, political scams. So, yeah there's always reasons to hate Jeff and call him on Shemitah BS, I get it. So far all the countless other collapse oracles failed too, cause guess what- the guys who pull the strings are REAL GOOD at kicking the empty can down the road JUUUUUUST a little longer. Me, for one, has not joined @dollarvigilante to hear about Shemitah, but because their stock portfolio is making me rich as we speak (no way around not admitting this...). Their chief financial analyst- Ed Bugos, is probably the smartest man I've ever met, and I feel lucky to know him personally and grab beers with him on regular basis. I also met a dozen of new clients (they buy my art) and couple dozens new friends through TDV who make a significant difference in my life. It's not only about money, these are great folks with interest in self-sustainable living and even spirituality. And guess what- we all laugh about Shemitah quite often, cause we know that the value of what we got from Jeff far outweights his BS. I don't know @jeffberwick personally but he is my facebook friend and we talk often, he is also one of my clients (this is not the reason why I am writing this, believe it or not). From what I see on his overall social media activity- he makes a huge difference in the world denouncing publicly and in a very smart and funny way those who OUGHT TO BE DENOUNCED. I see totally blind statists wake up through this guy and that is the REASON NUMBER ONE I FORGIVE HIM all that he might have fucked up. We all fuck up, I do as well. I don't see anyone complaining on TDV facebook group, cause we are all, in fact profiting from the membership (dirty cheap vs its value and compared to some others). More like things he can profit off of "exposing". I never said Jeff was fake, or that he didn't expose some truths. All I was saying is that he is a known scam artist, and pushed the Shemitah bullshit to get clicks and views. All he has to do is own up to his bullshit and I will move on. I was calling him out before the Shemitah date of Oct 5th or whatever the date was, and I got a ton of grief from TDV fans and no response from Jeff. He should never have pushed the Shemitah thing, and since he did and he was clearly wrong, he said it would happen by like November multiple times, and stoked fear into many people for no justifiable reason.
I don't mislead people and stoke fear into them for money, that is utter bullshit and irresponsible. When I make errors, and I do, I make videos to own up for my mistakes not brush them aside and act like it never happened.
True he should own up to that. This is btw one of the things that I never bought into, the whole fear thing. I believe the outside world is just reflection of our inner world, so focusing on things like this just make it worse, but I liked his other stuff (the monthly newsletter for subscribers is real good quality IMO). In all cases- I hear you and I can see the validity of your claim. Peace bro!
