Sage advice level post. Sharing is in my nature but repeatedly I wind up getting screwed over hardcore because I have blinders on. The receiving part is hard for some of us because we have been burnt so much we always think the person is going to damage or use us or strings attached.
Just remember that you can't be used or taken advantage of if you don't have expectations.
Breaking down those expectations on the other hand is a whole can of worms that I have been doing here for months :/
