뷔슈드 노엘은 프랑스어권 나라에서 크리스마스 식사후에 다같이 디저트로 먹는 케이크 입니다.

이 뷔슈드 노엘은 크리스 마스 이브부터 연초까지 또는 최소한 3일동안 장작불을 꺼트리지 않으면 다음해에 농사 풍년이 난다는 설과 장작불에 소금을 뿌리거나 와인을 부으면 나쁜귀신들을 쫓는 다는 속설이 있어 중세때 부터 농업국가인 프랑스에서 크리스마스에 다같이 가족들이 벽난로 앞에서 장작불에 모여
일종의 의식에서 기인했다고 합니다.
