FVL Increasing to 1500 SP September 1st, 2018
In order to continue providing the expected level of performance and service we have offered since our humble beginnings over a year ago we will be increasing the FVL to 1500 on 1/9/2018, that is September 1st, 2018 for you Americans! Get ready and power up big this is the week where its cheap and we are handing out bonuses!

and this isn't a "bonus" we are RAISING the Fractional Voting Level to 1500 it currently is at 1065. You will want to upgrade as much as possible before we hike the FVL since that directly translates into your Pool Priority and Shadow Rank adjustments!
Do I understand correctly that Pool Priority and Shadow Rank are locked in, i.e. for new casters and casters who can't add SP quickly, it will be ever more difficult to increase these 2 factors and as such will propotionally upvote more (in value) to receive return votes?
Is there a formula to calculate the RIO based on SP, Voting Power and number of upvotes per day?

These articles are a good read because it nicely explains the Shadowbot voting concept plus formulae used.
Can I suggest to pin these links in the FAQ section on the website as well because I guess more people are looking for this information.
The entire site is being rebuilt for our new release. Everything is being updated and upgraded with a full intro and updated FAQ/Knowldgebase.
I don't think raising the FVL is a good call atm, if we see the stats there are only 44 casters above the FVL, but if we increase it to 1500 there would be only 33 casters above the FVL, so the system will be beneficial for a handful of people only...Jumping from 1065 to 1500 is a huge move, I rather see you increase the FVL 100 SP per month so more people can catch up, I know that Steem is cheap but that's like buying 400$ of Steem so you can catch up with the FVL. And after a month or two it may jump to 2,000 SP.
Can we postpone this?
