Another great gameweek for the English Premier league!

Summary:

  • Some are playing tough
  • Some can't play at all
  • The ones who manage to scrape by or even better
  • The Leagues

Some are playing tough

After 7 fixtures, we can assume with some kind of certainty that the title will be played between City, United and Spurs. Just look at Manchester City, which could have passed 4 to Chelsea, where it not for the absence of Aguero. It all came down to De Bruyne to score and get 11 points for his efforts!

Meanwhile, Manchester United just swatted aside Crystal Palace with its customary brutal fashion. However, this time, it's neither Lukaku nor Pogba (injured) who stood out but Fellaini (16 points!) and Rashford (2 assists).

And of course, Kane has just completed his month of September in spectacular fashion with another brace. His third of the season! He does not seem able to score at home so far, but during the last 3 travels of Spurs, he scored 13 points each time!

Some can't play at all

Another disappointing week for Liverpool, whose only comfort comes from Coutinho. Firmino and Sturridge remain goalless and Klopp can be worried. But of course, it must be said that Newcastle was a tougher nut to crack thanks to Benitez.

And what to say about Everton? Losing at home against Burnley can't even be considered an accident at this altitude...

The ones who manage to scrape by or even better

West Ham looks like a team who has left the worst behind them, thanks to a solo goal of Sakho. Slaven Bilic is slowly seeing the light at the end of a looooong tunnel! But don't bet too much on them still.

And Arsenal, little by little, prove they have more grit than one could expect, thanks to the return of Sanchez: second assist in two fixtures!

The Leagues

Toyosi Abolarin's TOYOBABY FC is now the top dog with 426 points, congrats!

But the top scorer is (again!) INVESTORS XI with 89 points!

Meanwhile in my own league, I stay in 3rd position and @stickchumpion 's London Zulu FC remain on top:

I'm lurking just beneath you in both leagues - just waiting to pounce. Well, at least that is my story anyway. ;)

haha yeah! I'll keep an eye out, because the tables can change very quickly XD

What will your strategy be in the coming weeks. Man United are playing better teams now, and your team has three from United. Will you change or keep them? :)

As far as United's calendar go, I feel Lukaku is up to the challenge against any team. But I might switch Valencia for a defender from City which has a easier run, and not sure what Mikhtaryan can bring me (Martial might be a better shot). As for City, Silva and Jesus will stay. Without Morata, i'm not sure what Chelsea can do, even with a couple of easy games ahead - so i stay away from them. So, I am now thinking more little teams like Leicester and Newcastle, they have "easy" games ahead.

Yes, I agree. I have actually sold "all" my United players. Martial might be a great investment, but would you buy him already now. He is not even a regular? I am really interested to see what Chelsea can do without Morata. It might be Hazard time to shine. As for City, I will have three City players, and three Arsenal of course ;)

Hey ! I joined

Good! Welcome! :) What's the name of your team?

Motan's dream team.. I think . It will be shown next week
